Summary: It’s the popular serialisation where the theme is horoscope readings ♪ What’s this happy affair for the brothers arising from Kyosuke’s lucky item, “strawberries” … ?

A brief break brought upon by divination. What these brothers feel, and how they spend this time……

Kyosuke: I brought you some refreshments, brother. If you can spare time for a breather, wanna eat together?

Makoto: You’re right. It’s just about time to call it a day’s work.

Kyosuke: Great. Then, here. Go on and open the box.

Makoto: What snacks could you have brought me today—! …… Well, well. So it’s an assortment of sweets made from strawberries. But why go this far to make it all strawberries?

Kyosuke: Actually, I got my fortune told the other day on the program where I appeared as a guest, and my lucky item for this month are “strawberries”. Because of that, no matter where I go for work, I’ve been receiving lots of goodies with them in it recently.

Makoto: Is that so? It’s probably due to your popularity that they all come flocking.

Kyosuke: I hope that’s the case. But anyway, it really is a push for me to finish eating everything, so I’m splitting it with you too.

Makoto: I appreciate the thought. Let’s dig in straight away.

(Starting from this financier.)

…… It looks crunchy on the outside while packing a promising flavour.

Kyosuke: Not “delicious”, but “promising”?

Makoto: It has a chewy consistency where you can feel that it’s a financier in your mouth many times over.

Kyosuke: Ahaha, I see. And this one’s a strawberry-flavoured chocolate.

Makoto: …… Thanks. …… ! Is there strawberry jam in this? For as much as it was an unpredictable development, my brain’s been given a good kick to go.

Kyosuke: (His reactions have their quirks, but he looks super happy. Maybe the strawberries are his lucky item, and not mine.)

So is your writing coming along smoothly?

Makoto: Yes, very much so, and without issue.

Kyosuke: (Without… issue…… ?)

You’re right. I can’t hear the raging calls coming from Namihara-san today.

Makoto: I’ve been coming up with great ideas one after the other today. Also because this month has turned out to be exceedingly forgiving in terms of my schedule.

Kyosuke: So then, you also have more time to spare than usual?

Makoto: As you can see, I have the time to leisurely talk with you face-to-face like this as well.

Kyosuke: Yeah, you were holed up in your room all of last month. It’s been a while since we’ve been able to speak with each other like so. ……
(Being able to spend this sort of time with my brother might really mean that my lucky item are strawberries.)

Makoto: I feel as if it’s somehow far too obscure to separate people into 12 different types to decide their fortunes……

Kyosuke: True. But my lucky item for this month being “strawberries” isn’t off the mark. Because, you know, something super good is coming out of it for me in particular.

Makoto: Right…… Well then, stick around with me on my break for a little longer. I hear there’s a limited seasonal confectionery using strawberries at the patisserie closeby.

Kyosuke: (Is he trying to up my luck to the max?)
