‘Bocchama' is what Yuzuru calls Touri; it's equivalent to 'Young Master'/'Young Lord'/'Little Master'.
'Dysgeusia’ is a taste disorder.
When Yuzuru says that nobility do not understand the feelings of those beneath them, the literal meaning here for nobility is ‘those who reside above the clouds’ and those beneath are ‘dogs’.
‘He who touches pitch shall be defiled therewith’ is the original line Yuzuru uses to warn Touri against becoming someone like Hiyori. It’s an allusion to Ecclesiasticus 13:1 in the 1611 version of the King James Bible.

Hiyori insulting Touri:

‘Suckerfish’ or commonly known as ‘remoras’ are fish that have fins used like suction cups to adhere to larger marine life. They then act as hosts for the suckerfish, providing all sorts of benefits. You get where Hiyori is going with this analogy…
‘Nouveau riche’ is the fancy way of saying ‘new money’. Amongst wealthy families in high society, coming from ‘new money’ wasn’t as impressive as ‘old money’ because you essentially had to work for it as opposed to being born into it. Only the really pretentious and snobby aristocrats still subscribe to this belief.

The Japanese title for this sub-story is “Ohii-san to Issho”:

1) “Together with Ohii-san” – from Jun’s perspective as he is the only one to refer to Hiyori as ‘Ohii-san’; however, he does not appear in the story and is only mentioned in passing.
2) “Same as Ohii-san” – after having read the story, you’ll understand why I went with this in the end because it suits the content of the story since it addresses the subject of nobility between Hiyori and Touri.
3) ‘Ohii-san’ is Jun’s sarcastic name for Hiyori. It’s the same as ‘ohime-san’, meaning ‘princess’. That being said, ‘hime’ is also the first part in ‘Himemiya’ (Touri’s surname).

Like I said~ it’s not as if I don’t want to eat the lunch that Yuzuru made no matter what or anything.

I’m just saying that it’s hard to eat because it’s bland and filled with nothing but things I hate.

If you must want me to eat it then you have to make it fully filled with all my favourite foods.

Besides~ if it’s Yuzuru, then you would know all my likes, right?

Yuzuru:

You may say that, Bocchama, but if you only ever eat the things you like then your nutrient intake will be one-sided. In the worst case scenario, there is the possibility that you will succumb to dysgeusia.

On the occasion that you dine with everyone—and you constantly speak off the mark about the food due to the lack of taste buds—then you will be a laughing stock.

As the next in line successor to the Himemiya name, I request that you take due care now in anticipation of the future.

Touri:

How annoying~ you don’t have to worry. I’m going to properly become a splendid successor that no one will be able to point at and make fun of.

Yuzuru:

If you do not give me grounds to go on, then I will not be convinced otherwise.

<grumbling>…… Even though I go through great pains every morning to wake up early and pour my whole heart into making the lunch.

Touri:

No one’s asking you to. I mean, we have our own proper chef, so what’s the point of Yuzuru making my lunch?

You know, it’s bad to steal people’s jobs.

Won’t that lead to fights with the other servants~ you should really get along with them. No way, I don’t want there to be a strained atmosphere in the house.

Yuzuru:

You need not worry. The chef and the others sympathise with my feelings—in fact, they are cooperating with me to gather the ingredients and such.

After all, Bocchama, you immediately act all sweet and have others wrapped around your finger…… They cannot help but indulge you, is that not so?

That will not do. Therefore, I have taken it upon myself to thoroughly supervise everything.

There is nothing more that can be done about today, seeing as you have already placed your order…… But from tomorrow onwards, please do properly eat your lunch.

Touri:

Ugh~ okay, okay. Gosh…… You really can’t tell who the Master here is with you acting all self-important and nitpicking about this and that.

…… Hmm?

Yuzuru:

What is the matter, Bocchama?

Touri:

Umm~ Hey Yuzuru, that person in that seat over there, is that……?

Hiyori:

~ …… ♪

Touri:

I knew it! Hiyori-sama…… ☆

Hiyori:

Hm? Did someone just call my name?

Touri:

Wow wow, it’s Hiyori-sama! Why are you here at Yumenosaki Academy? Hey, do you remember me?

Hiyori:

Yep, yep! Umm, you’re…… Who are you? Sorry! I don’t really remember!

Touri:

Aah, I guess that’s natural~ I was a little kid the last time we met each other, after all ♪

Yuzuru:

Hmph. It has been a while since I saw Bocchama pretending to act innocent……

Ah, could you possibly be Tomoe Foundation’s Hiyori-sama?

Hiyori:

That’s right, you got it! I’m Hiyori, the distinguished son of the Tomoe family!

Um~ you know about me, huh…… I leave the socialising business to my elder brother, so I don’t really show my face around though?

Yuzuru:

As part of my duty as a servant, I have looked over the list of nobilities and such.

Since a young age, both I and this here’s Himemiya Touri have made your acquaintance.

You mean that number one group in recent history to make a name for themselves—that nouveau riche Himemiya family!

Yuzuru:

I think it’s best that the likes of mere servants shouldn’t be butting in too much.

Touri:

Wa-wait…… Don’t get hostile, Yuzuru.

Sure, I’m bothered by the way it was said, but it’s not like Hiyori-sama was also telling lies or anything.

At least with our collected history, status is the only thing our family can’t buy…… If we have that pointed out to us, we can’t argue against it—even if it’s old-fashioned, that’s what high society is.

Yuzuru:

Yes. My apologies, Bocchama. I have behaved in an insolent manner.

Touri:

It’s okay. Of course you’d get angry on my behalf—it makes me happy.

…… More importantly, Hiyori-sama, what are you really doing here at Yumenosaki Academy?

Ah, that reminds me, Eichi-sama…… The President might’ve said something about calling on past acquaintances for something like the “Summer Live”.

He must’ve meant Hiyori-sama.

If it’s ex-fine’s Hiyori-sama, then there’s surely no shortage in capabilities and connections—it’s the ideal choice.

Hiyori:

Aah, I don’t want any mention of “fine”…… Personally, it’s a bitter memory, and I don’t really want to revisit it.

I like to look towards only splendour and fame at all times. That’s a fine Hiyori…… ♪

Touri:

Umm, I don’t really understand…… But anyways, could it be that you don’t know how to order food here, Hiyori-sama?

I’ve also had that same problem happen to me. Even when I waited, no one came to take my order~ You have to buy a meal ticket at that vending machine over there.

Hiyori:

Haha, is that how it works? I’ve learned something!

But I’m simply only waiting because Jun-kun told me to “wait here”, you know?

Touri:

Um, Jun-kun is……?

Hiyori:

He’s my slave. We sure have it hard with both our underlings being so cheeky.

Honestly, it’s not like I have any obligation to wait here forever for him…… I’m going to head back first to the hotel we’re staying at.

If there’s a gloomy child wearing the same uniform as me, then that’s Jun-kun……

Yuzuru:

Yes. His assumed air of nobility is as overt as the President’s and Bocchama’s sweet act.

Although the Tomoe Foundation should be facing predicaments, it seems like the person himself is as proud as ever.

Touri:

Hehe. Now you realise how much I have to mind myself when treating you kindly, don’t you.

The norm is that I wouldn’t listen to you like this as if we were equals, you know?

Yuzuru:

Yes. Hiyori-sama’s behaviour is the standard. Nobility do not understand the feelings of those beneath them, after all.

However—I will not tell you to follow in his example, but I pray that you do not turn out to be too much like someone of his nature.

I am worried because Bocchama is steadily on the verge of simply becoming like that sort of child as of late.

Touri:

Hm~ my heart is always like that of nobility, but I take care to keep myself in check.

Also, it’s not good to stray too far from the feelings of commoners, you know—because we’re Idols singing for the sake of the masses.

But still…… I really was angry~ with being called nouveau riche and all.

“Trickstar” are going to face off with Hiyori-sama in the “Summer Live”, right?

“Trickstar” are the detestable opponents that gave us a mark of defeat, but that’s also why I don’t want them to lose……

So I’m going to cheer them on as the current “fine”.
