…… Alright. That about does it

(Hm~ Somehow it’s not coming along “nicely”—it’s different from an Idol outfit so it ain’t good to be too gaudy either)

(Thanks to joining “Akatsuki”, I’ve become well-informed with good ol' traditional styles and designs)

(But I get the feeling that I’m starting to stray away from the latest in fashion-like stuff)

(I oughta properly gather information and become a little bit more fashion-conscious)

(But ya know, I really am better at things with a manly feeling……)

(It’d be faster to ask the little miss Anzu-chan for her opinion on women’s things, but it seems like she’s been super busy lately)

(Even my lil sis—whether it’s ‘cause of my influence or it’s ‘cause we’re siblings—she’s easily pleased by boyish stuff……)

(Is that it—that I got no choice but to ask Itsuki? But that guy as well, he’s the type to be completely backwards with fashion)

(Since a long time ago, he’s liked girly things)

Keito: Pardon the intrusion! Is Kanzaki here yet!?

Kurou: Huh—oh. What’s wrong, Hasumi-danna*? You’re all flustered…… That ain’t like you. Actually, the sewing supplies and stuff are strewn about, so don’t come barging in

It’ll be serious trouble if you step on the needles or something, right? Be careful

Keito: S-sorry…… Are you making an outfit again, Kiryuu? You really do love making them

Kurou: Well, half of it is my hobby though

C’mon, the “Producer Course” will be officially starting from next year onward and all, so there are various changes to the system, right?

Apparently they’ll be needing designs for the girls’ uniforms in the newly established course and all

Looks like they’ll be running a competition, so I was thinking of maybe also entering

Pros from outside the Academy that are the real deal are gonna participate too—I don’t know whether I’ll be accepted or not but I want to put my skills to the test

Keito: Aah, I’ve heard of that talk. We’re all gathering here today too because we received a small job in that direction

Kurou: What do ya mean by in that direction?

Keito: Hmm. It is pretty much the formal season for exams after all, so in case of a school information session or something, there’s come a need to have an exhibition and such

We’ll do a simple performance in front of the new students

Kurou: Hmmm, did we have that sorta thing recently? We didn’t have that back in our days. School information session, huh…… It’s become a good era

Keito: Sometimes I start to not understand about how old you really are. You’re like a grandpa, Kiryuu

Kurou: I don’t want be told that by you, who has a face that suits the role of sipping tea by the window*

Keito: Hmmm. In any case, other schools have taken to the scene rather flashily lately

They’re probably desperate to acquire new students—the same goes for Yumenosaki Academy’s managers as well. It seems their intention is to use any means to induce new students so that they’ll enrol with us

Kurou: Is that so? But even if they decided on having an exhibition, is it alright for it to be us?

After “Quarrel Festival”, we did unofficially stand at the top, but will it be okay if it’s not “fine” or “Trickstar” instead?

Keito: Those guys are busy, after all. In terms of being safe, then “Akatsuki” will surely enough be declared the winner. It seems like singing one’s own praises, but I think we’re qualified

Kurou: Well anyway, it won’t be good if there’s some weird accident, since ya don’t know what either Tenshouin or “Trickstar” will get up to……

The job of being dignified and having to secure a stable outcome is a role for us, ain’t it

Haha. It completely feels like we’re government dogs, doesn’t it? Is this propaganda work or something?

Keito: Don’t say that. If good new students come gathering to us, then it’ll be peaceful after our graduation as well. We’ll end it without putting hardship on Kanzaki and that favourite of yours, Tetora

Kurou: You’re pretty overprotective, ya know that?

But hey, why were you looking like you were in a rush then? Just from hearing your story, it doesn’t seem like it’s an emergency or anything

Keito: Ah, that’s right…… Er, Kanzaki hasn’t shown up yet, has he?

Kurou: Yeah. Well, he’s someone who does things “precisely”, so he’ll most likely show his face when it gets to the time

Keito: Hmm. I’ve the same opinion on that note, but there’s not much time left then…… Kiryuu, I’ll be borrowing your tools for a bit

Kurou: Huh? What’s up—have you suddenly awakened to the fun of sewing?

Amateurs tend to hurt their fingertips and all, so it’s not really something Idols do or anything

If you’re interested, then I’ll teach you

Since the both of your outfits are fully left up to me—even at times when I’m absent—it’d be good if you can satisfactorily be able to repair and adjust them with ease

Keito: No, it’s not as if I want to sew something. There’s the toolbox and materials used for those times when repairing the worn-out buildings, right? Lend me those things

Kurou: Aah…… I don’t mind, but seriously, what’s going on? Is the archery hall collapsing or something? That building is starting to fall apart here and there

This martial arts hall is still a new building, but that one looks like it’s been around since the same time as Yumenosaki Academy was made

Sometimes the roof will be leaking or something, and I’ll be sent out to mend it

Honestly, sometimes I start to not understand what I’m supposed to be. Sewing and carpentry work…… What should I do next—should I begin a vegetable garden too?

Keito: Don’t say that. You don’t know what sort of skills will become necessary or not for Idols
