Characters: Hiyama Takaomi & Otani Hatori.

Title: For this season, this year too

-Revel’s Bar-

Otani: Speaking of, it’s the season for that.

Hiyama: “That”?

Otani: I’m referring to the new brew of wine. It’s a huge fuss every year, isn’t it?

“A taste that can only be had once every 10 years” or “that of which has surpassed last year’s”, you know.

Hiyama: So it has almost reached that time of the year.

Otani: Up until now, we’ve only ever had wine that’s been aged.

But seeing as it’s always talked about, I figured that it might be delicious so I went and bought one to try out.

So, do you want to give it a shot?

Hiyama: I’m certainly intrigued by it…… Shall we then?

-Revel’s Bar-

Otani: …… Hmmm, the colour isn’t as bad as I had expected it to be.

But it’s pretty much confirmed that I do prefer wine that has been left to age.

Hiyama: (So it wasn’t to Hatori’s taste……)

…… I suppose that it does lack that level of intensity to the ones we’re usually drinking.

But it’s not so bad to have this sort of young wine from time to time either.

Otani: You think so?

Hiyama: Yes, I do. Also…… Don’t you taste the flavour from the grapes that have been raised with love by the people on the wineyard?

Otani: (I believe that you’re about the only person who would feel something like that coming out of it, Hiyama-kun.)

Hiyama: It truly is a wonderful thing to be growing plants.

Regardless of whatever form of love is put into raising them, it is something that will definitely be conveyed to other people as well.

Otani: So like this wine, you mean.

Hiyama: Exactly. That’s why I’m sure that if you keep drinking it, Hatori, you too will understand its greatness.

Otani: Oh.

Hiyama: ? Have you begun to understand its greatness?

Otani: Oh yeah, I have alright.

And seeing as I have, why don’t we call over Maki and Kagura and spread this greatness to them as well?

Hiyama: You propose a fine plan there.

Otani: I’ll go give them a call then.

(I’m sure that Kagura will give us a great reaction.)

Afterwards, they spent the night listening to the scathing evaluation from the designer that had rendezvoused with them.

And it turned out to be a night where they thoroughly enjoyed the new brew of wine that they normally wouldn’t have been caught drinking…...
