Title: The robot and him #2

-Revel’s Bar-

Otani: Hmmm. An AI robot, huh……

So it learns words and all? Like that sort of thing?

Maki: Yeah. I want you to try using it as well, Hatori.

Otani: It sounds like fun, so sure. All I have to do is talk to it about various things, right?

Maki: That’s right. It should turn into a natural sounding conversation as the robot picks up words after all.

Otani: Got it. Well then, I’ll bring it back here in a few days or so.

Maki: Thanks for helping me out. I’m counting on you.

-Several days later-

-Revel’s Bar-

Otani: I’ve brought your robot along with me.

Maki: Thanks. So how was it?

Otani: Yep, it was fun. It looks like it started being able to give me quite the lovely responses too.

Maki: …… What sort of words did you teach it?

Otani: How about I get straight to the demonstration?

C’mon, ask Maki out.

Maki: (Ask me out……?)

Robot: “I’m happy to have ran into you today. Do you have time now? Why don’t we go out for a bite?”

Maki: …… Huh?

Robot: “No need to be so shy. I’ll make you a cocktail that’s just fitting for you.”

Maki: ……

Robot: “Oh my, there’s no answer. That part about you is just as cute though.”

Maki: …… Hatori……

Otani: This AI really is amazing. To think that it can respond to every type of conversational pattern.

Let me know when the release date has been decided next. There are a number of various things that I want to test out after all.

Maki: ……

“Is this also considered a success in a way……?” The toy-maker struggled with those words.
