Characters: Kagura Aki & Sugano Natsuki

Title: Order that coffee! #5

-In front of the Cafe-

Kagura: (I’m craving a drink but I can’t seem to find a good place.)

(And just when I thought that I had found one, it turned out to be generic coffee chain. Unbelievable.)

(I’ll look for another—)

Staff: We’re handing out coffee samples at the moment. Would you like one?

Kagura: No thanks. I don’t even know where the beans you’re using come from so as if I’m going to put something like that into my mouth……

Staff: These are roasted coffee beans from Guatemala!

Kagura: ……! Oh, what’s this? So you’ve got a proper grasp on the localities then.

Staff: Yep! Coffee is different based on where the beans come from, their roasting methods and their extraction methods too.

Kagura: Hmmm. You’ve surprisingly given it thought. Still, you probably don’t take your time doing it and just mass produce it, right?

Staff: A certain amount of it is considering the nature of the cafe, but we make adjustments to the machine from that day’s temperature and humidity.

Kagura: Hmmm. You actually put in time and labor.

Staff: We’re allowed to follow through with our liking to a reasonable extent.

Kagura: If you’re going so far as to say that, then let me taste test it for you. Is there a free seat inside?

Staff: Yes, of course! Please come on in. I’ll show you to your seat.

Persuaded by the cafe’s uniqueness, the designer was somehow or other able to enjoy the taste of their coffee.

-In the case of Sugano Natsuki-

-Coffee Shop-

Sugano: Excuse me, but which drink is on the currently limited menu?

Staff: Right now, it’s the white chocolate mocha and the latte with cocoa whipped cream!

Sugano: Oh, so there are two types to pick from.

Hmmm. They both look delicious so I’m stuck on choosing one, but…… a white chocolate mocha for me please!

Staff: Sure! Please wait one moment.

Sugano: This cafe’s limited menu has some really delicious drinks so it makes me wanna try them all~

I’m thinking of also giving the cocoa whipped cream one a shot the next time I come in.

Oh yeah, there was a chocolate flavored one last year as well. That tasted heavenly too.

Staff: We’re just happy that you took a liking to it! Here’s your white chocolate mocha!

Sugano: Thanks! I’ll be back real soon again to try out that cocoa whipped cream one!

Customer: Hmmm. So there was a menu like this too. Well then, I’ll also have the same thing as that guy from before.

Staff: Sure!

Thereafter, as a result of the junior detective so happily ordering his drink……

Their sales drastically shot up and he was secretly referred to as the godly customer by the cafe.
