Sugano: Tsukasa-san! Do you have a good idea of sorts!?

Sugano: Sweeet!! The chocolate bar is slightly melted so it’s turned out looking like a pretty neat sandwich!

Sugano: Alright! With this, I can also become a man who cooks!!
Hattori: Goodness, it certainly doesn’t taste bad, but you can’t call this cooking.

Hattori: It seems like you all have enough free time to be playing chef here……

Every year, he would make a slightly difficult looking face at the words “what a cute birthday”.
Before I knew it, he was resting his chin in one hand and quietly sleeping at the counter.
Otani: Oh? How rare. Did Maki fall asleep?
Kagura: Well…… He’s probably been holding it in. He did say that he practically had an all-nighter yesterday.
Yet you made him drink champagne like crazy.
Otani: And who was it that picked out that champagne?
Kagura: I said you didn’t have to force him to drink it because he could’ve just taken it home with him.
Hiyama: And it was Maki who interjected there, suggesting that we all drink it together seeing as we might as well.
In other words, he was responsible for it himself.
Otani: Ahaha. That is how it is.
Kagura: Sigh…… After all this time, he didn’t have to go minding us now or anything.
Hiyama: It’s not that he was being mindful of us, he was probably feeling happy.
Kagura: ……
Otani: You already know that for yourself though.
Kagura: Shut up…… I get it.
Even if I tell him that he doesn’t need to force himself to come if work is busy……
And even if it cuts into his sleep, he’d push himself to finish up and come anyway.

Otani: …… By the way, Maki. Are you still going to keep on pretend sleeping?

I quickly looked to the side at Kei-chan, who was supposed to have been sleeping.
His face was all red up to his ears as he awkwardly opened his eyes.
Kagura: W-Wha…… w-wait, you were awake??
Maki: ……
Otani: You’ve been relatively awake since the very beginning, haven’t you?
Kagura: (Did he hear everything from before!?)
Maki: Sorry. The timing kind of somehow, you know……
Otani: Good for you, Maki. You got to hear everyone’s confession.
Maki: You realised and did that on purpose, didn’t you?
Otani: Who can say? But anyways, the most interesting one was Kagura’s.
Kagura: …… You really are a horrible person. You also have poor taste. You’re the worst.
Otani: Now, now. Isn’t something like this also nice from time to time?
Since we’re all upfront with not being frank with our feelings.
At least for someone’s birthday, we’ve become honest with ourselves.
Kagura: There you go again with saying whatever suits you. Even if you try to justify it……
Maki: …… He’s right.

“It made me happy,” Kei-chan mumbled looking like he truly meant it.
After hearing that, it turned out somewhat ridiculous for me to be mad at Hatori. So I simply replied back with a short, “I see.”
Otani: Well then, now that the birthday boy has woken up, shall we toast once again?
Kagura: You still want to drink?
Otani: There’s still of what I brought over remaining after all.
Of course, I don’t mind bringing them home with me. What says you, Maki?
Maki: Hmm…… We might as well.
Kagura: Sigh. I knew you’d say that.
Hiyama: …… Indeed.
Hiyama-kun was laughing in my direction with an awfully gentle expression. But it felt a little unnerving so I looked away.
We then toasted for the umpteenth time that day.
No matter how many happy birthdays we wished him, Kei-chan would sincerely and thoughtfully accept them with a “thanks”. It was kind of comical……
So I decided that we would celebrate my childhood friend’s birthday like this next year as well.

Kirishima: I can’t become stronger than I am now unless I have more Memory……
I’m gonna evolve even further so that I can protect you all too! I wanna power up!
Kaname: (What does he mean by memory? What does that have to do with evolving……)
Miyase: You’re right. I’m also thinking of Standing Up myself, so I’m collecting Memories.
But when it comes to the big ones, they don’t drop quite as often. I’m having a hard time with it……
Kaname: Drop……?
Kujo: Regarding that, I’ve heard something from Hiyama and the others.
It sounds like there’s also the method of acquiring them through the Flower Shop for times when they’re unobtainable no matter what.

So it’s wrong to take a shortcut in order to become strong, huh!

Kirishima: What, so there are even things that you don’t know, heh.
A dragon fruit is a fruit that a dragon ate a long time ago to get powerful.
That’s why it’s now called a dragon fruit. They say if you eat it then you can become strong!
Kaname: …… Did you by any chance hear that from Kiyoshi-san?
Kirishima: Yeah man. It’s what you’d expect of a doctor! I kinda got respect for him now!
But a greengrocer’s, huh…… Guess I’ll ask Miyase to come with me to get it when we go out shopping together next.
Since that’s what I’m set on doing, I better hurry! I’m gonna go find Miyase!

I think you should stop telling Koya-kun those sorts of jokes.

(I’m sure it’ll turn out to be something good if it’s a work he’s starring in.)
Staff: This is bad, man! What are we gonna do!? At this rate, the filming will be……
Hiyama: Hm? Did something happen?
Kyosuke: What’s wrong? It looks like filming is stalled……
Staff: Oh, Tsuduki-san…… The thing is, the extra that was supposed to come in today suddenly can’t make it.
Kyosuke: Do you mean… the person who’ll be picking up the memo that I dropped?

(This wouldn’t have been a problem if I hadn’t lent it to that girl yesterday.)
(Well, this is her we’re talking about, so she’s probably going to come around and return it sometime today like a good girl.)
Makoto: Hm?...... Kagura Aki?
Kagura: ! Makoto-san… Why are you here?
Makoto: I was on my way out to buy a few sweets as well as taking a break.

Miyase: Yes. I just finished washing them, so I was going to carry them out to the garden to hang.

Hiyama: Is it okay for you to be here in the gardens, Kujo?
If I recall, I did hear that your body is unwell.
Kujo: My symptoms calmed down just a moment ago.
Today’s a warm day after all. I was having a change a pace and looking at the gardens at the same time.
Hiyama: That’s good to hear. Regarding yesterday’s intel, I’ve put it together in these documents.
Kujo: You have my thanks. Sorry that I had you go out of your way to come here.
Hiyama: Not at all. I had business that was right closeby in passing so it was not a problem.
Plus…… I also wanted to try getting a look at this garden.
Kujo: Of the garden?
Hiyama: Previously, when Miyase and I ran into each other, we were both talking about the gardens in our houses.
Looking at all this, it certainly is a Miyase-like garden.
Kujo: Is that something so different between people?
Hiyama: One’s personality shows through in the types of flowers they choose or in the way they plant them.
In his case, there appears to be far more smaller flowers with soft colours that you can enjoy over large ones.
Also, I feel as if he is taking great care towards the season’s tone as well. I believe the plums and cherry blossoms are of that group.
