Souma Kanzaki, Adonis Otogari and Anzu

Notice board

Anzu discusses the job with Souma and Adonis.

T/L Notes:
  • When Souma mentions how he wants them to participate to “refresh themselves”, the exact word he uses is “hashi yasume”, which literally translates over to “resting your chopsticks” or in the English equivalent, “entremets”. This is a dish that you eat in-between meals as a sort of ‘breather’ or a ‘break’ from the main course. Souma uses these terms and phrases casually because his character enjoys cooking. I only carried over the meaning, but this translation note is for your benefit (the more you know~)
Athletics: Prologue 2
The camp site?...... If it’s that place, then I’ve been there before during the joint training camp with “Ra*bits”.
If you want us to take part in the program introducing the newly established athletics area, then we have no objections.
But even so, the decision is not up to me. I have to ask Sakuma-sempai and if I get the okay, then I will happily participate.
I also cannot give you an answer without first asking Hasumi-dono. Even if I am brimming with determination, if Hasumi-dono objects then it is impossible.
Kiryuu-dono is not a problem. Because even if Hasumi-dono has good reflexes, I cannot say for certain that he has confidence in his stamina.
It is not a considerable amount of exercise for us—but coming from Hasumi-dono, then it seems that he would almost think that we are “monsters”.
Kanzaki. Do you think that “UNDEAD” have confidence in their stamina?
Eh, are you asking me that? There is no need to say anything when it comes to Adonis-dono, but Hakaze…… -dono—I am not too sure.
The Marine Life Club is not a club for exercising after all. Would Adonis-dono not be more knowledgeable about the remaining “membaa” in “andeddo” as you are also a member of it?
Hmm. Talking is my weak point, so I haven’t really had that sort of conversation before.
But I think all of us members are basically confident in our physique and stamina.
…… Anzu, can I confirm something with you?
Since it’s a program introducing the athletics area, is the filming planned for during the day then?...... If it is, then I worry about Sakuma-sempai’s stamina.
We do work from noon onwards, but Sakuma-sempai is weak against sunlight so we set our main activities to night time.
If he works while under the sun, then he may end up fainting.
If he were to faint during the filming, then that is a serious matter. If it is a live broadcast, then it can even lead to stopping the filming…… We would also be giving the viewers at home quite the shock.
Sorry, Anzu. I’ll try talking to Sakuma-sempai, but I’d like for you to keep in mind that it may end up being pointless.
If it’s an urgent job, then maybe someone else…… I see, you’ll be waiting for our response.
If possible, I’d like to participate. If it’s a physical job then it can help out “UNDEAD” even more from here on out.
The time for “Repayment Festival” is also approaching, so I shouldn’t be greedily taking on jobs, but…
Hm? So the job you are introducing to us is right after “Repayment Festival”, I see. Then there is still about a month left of grace.
I have heard that almost all “yunitto” in the Academy will be participating in “Repayment Festival”.
If I approach Hasumi-dono from the direction that we shall participate to refresh ourselves after finishing a large “dorifesu”, then he may give his consent.
What’s wrong, Kanzaki? You’re making a troubled face—is something bothering you?
Ah, no, I became lost in my emotions when I thought about how my seniors will be graduating after “Repayment Festival”……
With Kiryuu-dono and Hasumi-dono gone, “Akatsuki” will be left with only me.
Although it has not been that long since “Shokorafesu” was over, a month’s span will go by in no time at all. In any case, I shall try speaking with Hasumi-dono.
I’ll also head to the clubroom and try asking after classes have ended. Sakuma-sempai is probably asleep around this time, and the lunch break is also about to end.
Anzu, if you’re heading back to the classroom, then let’s go together.
Yes, Anzu-dono is our “kurasumeito” after all. Our destination is the same so it would be odd to take different actions here.
As a mark of pride in my own stamina, I would not even mind carrying Anzu-dono. Hmm. You shall pass on that offer? Then let us head back normally.
…… I wonder why it is—when I think about how there is only a short while left where I will be heading towards the second year classroom like this, I end up feeling a great deal of loneliness.
No, I have said something strange. It is about time for the opening “chaimu” to ring—let us hurry back to the classroom.
